  Warri, Delta State — November 14, 2025 The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) has expressed concern over the increasing circulation of forged safety certificates and the activities of unregistered individuals parading themselves as safety professionals. ISPON President, Chief Stephen Udezi, issued the warning during a press conference held on Friday at the institute’s State Office in Warri South Local Government Area. He urged practitioners across the country to regularize their membership, stressing that doing so is essential to building a safer and more compliant work environment. COMTOA Warns Against Illegal Extortion of Tricycle Operators by Fraudulent Unions in Delta State

Warri, Delta State — November 14, 2025 The Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Operators Association (COMTOA) has issued a firm and expanded warning over the growing harassment of Keke and Okada operators in Delta State, accusing disgruntled former members and other unauthorized individuals of attempting to forcefully collect illegal check-off dues under fake union names. Speaking during a detailed press conference on Friday in Effurun, COMTOA State Treasurer, Mr. Miller OkeOghene , flanked by other top executives of the association, condemned the actions of groups who he said have no recognition from the Delta State Government.
