ISPON Raises Alarm Over Forged Safety Certificates, Urges Practitioners to Regularize Membership
Warri, Delta State — November 14, 2025 The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) has expressed concern over the increasing circulation of forged safety certificates and the activities of unregistered individuals parading themselves as safety professionals. ISPON President, Chief Stephen Udezi, issued the warning during a press conference held on Friday at the institute’s State Office in Warri South Local Government Area. He urged practitioners across the country to regularize their membership, stressing that doing so is essential to building a safer and more compliant work environment.
