The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has disclosed that the House has not received the transmitted copy of the proposed amendment of the constitution of Nigeria from the National Assembly.

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Delta State Chapter has called on the State House of Assembly to reject a bill aimed at tra nsferring the payment of primary school teachers to local government councils along the demand for local government autonomy across the country. 

A bill for Delta State Customary Court has scaled through second reading during yesterday's plenary presided over by the Speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
