  Warri, Delta State — November 14, 2025 The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) has expressed concern over the increasing circulation of forged safety certificates and the activities of unregistered individuals parading themselves as safety professionals. ISPON President, Chief Stephen Udezi, issued the warning during a press conference held on Friday at the institute’s State Office in Warri South Local Government Area. He urged practitioners across the country to regularize their membership, stressing that doing so is essential to building a safer and more compliant work environment. Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
