The occasion was presided over by LGA party chairman, Hon Felix Erhimedafe and was supervised by two prominent leaders of our great party in the LGA, Chief Michael Adiotomre and Chief Bernard Edewor.

Ethiope East Constituency representative at DTHA, Hon Evance Ivwurie, Hon Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Barrister Mrs Mary Iyasere, immediate past Council Chairman and PDP candidate for the 2018 council election, Chief Mrs Faith Majemite, Dr Amos Ighorodje, Olorogun Tony Oboroh, Chief Suru Salami, Chief Westham, Engr Dr Blessing Enamuotor, Chief Sunday Okoro, Hon Izu Christopher, General Ogedegbe, Chief Mrs Beauty Anidi and other chieftains of the party were also in attendance.

Executive Assistant on Communications to His Excellency the Governor of Delta State, Dr Barrister Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe emerged as Chairman, Media and Publicity Sub-Committee while Olorogun Tony Oboroh is to Chair the Fund Raising and Finance Sub-Committee.

State Organizing Secretary of PDP in Delta, Olorogun Sunday Onoriode will Chair the Podium while Chief Mrs Faith Majemite is chairman of the Security Sub-Committee respectively.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
