The member representing Delta Central on the Delta state Waste Management Board Sir Igho Akpojotor says the Man Management skills of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa,who has stabilized the economy of the state as well as ensuring upto date payment of workers salary will result in landslide victory for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the 2018 local government elections in the state.

In Exclusive interview with Thelivepen.blogspot.com Sir Akpojotor rated Okowa very high while pointing to various projects and empowerment programs of the smart governor.
He added that the Administration has successfully maintained prompt payment of workers salary which has improved level efficiency amongst the workforce.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
