SAIPEM CAMP FIRE: PPMC Warri has NO fire fighting truck.

Following the fire incident at Saipem Camp, It has emerged that  Pipeline Product Marketing Company PPMC Warri, has no truck for its fire fighters.

Some individuals who lost their valuables in the incident claimed that when PPMC which is opposite the Saipem camp was called for assistance, but officials reportedly said they had no fire truck.

Other companies close to the Saipem Camp include WRPC and Daewoo.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
