DRAMA: AS POLICE RE-ARREST SEN.DINO MELAYE FROM HOSPITAL

Senator Dino Melaye has today been re-arrested from an Abuja hospital by the Nigerian Police and will be tried without any delay.


 Police confirmed an earlier report that Melaye , escaped from lawful custody earlier when ‘miscreants and hoodlums’ blocked a  police vehicle conveying him to Lokoja to face trial.
“In the process the Senator jumped out of the Police vehicle through the window.
The Police team reinforced and trailed Senator Dino Melaye to Zankli Hospital, Abuja where he was re-arrested.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
