SENATOR BLAMES CONSTITUTION FOR NIGERIA WOES

A senator of the  Federal Republic, Senator Andy Umeh says challenges facing  Nigeria  is tied to  to the current  constitution.

Senator  Umeh in a chat with our correspondent during the South East summit on restructuring of Nigeria on Monday in Enugu, averred that the present constitution does not equally represent the interest  of every part  of the  country. 
while expressing believe that the restructuring push will be successful, he warned that  efforts to frustrate it will put the Nation's  unity at risk.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
