2019 Gov Poll :Prof UTOMI TO GIVE COMMUNITIES POWER TO DECIDE PROJECTS - PUSH

The Ndokwa West Chapter of the Pat Utomi political family, named Pat Utomi Support Hub (PUSH) met on Wednesday (5th September) in KWALE to discuss the way forward for the party, All Progrssives Congrss APC and the actualization of Prof. Pat Utomi's aspiration for Governor of Delta State come 2019.

Team Leader, Barr. Nelson Enumah, took time to let the people know more about Pat Utomi 3-point Agenda, which is:
1) *Ending Poverty* in Delta State through Better Quality Education & Health facilities, and Special Empowerment of Women, Widows and Small businesses because he believes women are the backbone of all our families;
2) *Empowering Communities*, by giving communities the power to decide what kind of projects they want, and make govt. agencies like DESOPADEC, etc work better for the people;
3) *Infrastructure Development* that will stimulate the creation of new industries, generate thousands of new jobs and make life more meaningful for the people.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
