2019:Gbinije Declares For Reps,Vows To Change Okpe Narrative Positively
Just as he calls for total and genuine reconciliation among Leaders of Delta State All Progress Congress APC when he visited,RtdAVM,Frank Ajobena for consultation in Effurun.
While declaring his intention in his ancestral ward 9, in Oyeke,Okpe Local Government Area,Chief Gbinije decried the lack of infrastructural development in the entire Okpe ranging from health care system , good roads,higher tertiary institutions, and the high level of poverty among his people despite the presence of Okpe sons in government. "Not even a bank.This. is our time and Okpe must be develop in my time" The House of Reps,hopeful vows to change the narrative for a better Okpe and Federal Constituency. Adding that Okpe remain the most backward and least developed council
among the 25 LGAs in Delta State despite the present of some Okpes in government.
Chief Gbinije called on his people to rise up and reclaim the Federal Constituency since according to him it is the turn of Okpe to produce the next person to represent the Federal Constituency in Abuja
.He added that he was rigged out by the people's Democratic Party PDP with active conspiracy of some Okpe Leaders " If not I won the 2015 Election, it was manipulated at the council Secretariat by some so call leaders. To trade off Okpe. We cannot allow that this time around. "He disclosed that all 5 of the Okpe Children in the race are qualified" But I'm the most qualified.
