WARRI: P.T.I STUDENTS TO EMBARK OF INDUSTRY BASED PROJECT -CE

 As part of efforts to further preposition the Petroleum training institute P.T.I Effurrun for enhanced productivity, projects of Students of the institution will henceforth be industry based.

The school which has under gone major reforms under the current leadership recently entered into partnership with the amnesty office for the training of ex militants.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in the council chambers chief executive of the school Prof Sunny E. Iyuke who decried level project plagiarism among students in Nigeria said when projects address life problems of the industry; companies will be open to sponsoring such works.

While commending the federal government for the increased support, he disclosed that the upcoming   graduation will serve as an opportunity for the institute to showcase its achievements in tender with its vision and Mandate in its establishment act.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
