DELTA STATE PDP CHIEF, AMAH, ATTACKS EX -WIFE AT FUNERAL.

In what some have described as deep obsession metamorphosing into unbridled envy, former Peoples Democratic Party PDP chairman in Warri South Local government area, Amah Abgajoh, allegedly recently attacked his ex-wife Regina Itah publicly along Esievo Lane in  Warri, Delta state, when she went to pay a condolence visit, following the death of his step mother .

Mr. Agbajoh who has been separated from Regina for over eight years allegedly attacked his former wife from behind, violently punching her head severally before a shell shocked crowed restrained him, with some questioning his mental health.

Witnesses say before the unprovoked attack, Ms Regina who has close relationship with the diseased grown children, had maintained a calm posture alongside some friends and had not crossed part with Amah who was at the venue with his new wife.

It was also gathered that the intervention of some elders at the gathering prvented some angry youth in the area who were infuriated by Amah’s action, from beating him up.

Sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, say the Warri South PDP local leader ,who has since remarried following the divorcee, has remained embittered, especially as Ms Regina has moved on from marriage which was said to be abusive.

Delta State Govt Announce Monthly Environmental Sanitation to hold Saturday

The Delta State Government has announced that the monthly environmental sanitation exercise for October will hold across the state on Saturday, October 25, 2025 , between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, both vehicular and human movements will be restricted during the period of the exercise. Residents have been urged to clean their surroundings, cut overgrown weeds, desilt drains, and ensure proper waste disposal to prevent disease outbreaks. The statement reminded Deltans that it is their civic responsibility to keep at least a 20-metre radius around their premises clean. The Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro , will lead officials of the Ministry and other relevant agencies to monitor the exercise across the state to ensure full compliance.
