  As part of the effort to curb the menace of kidnapping, armed robbery and other related vices in the State, the Commissioner of Police Delta State CP Olufemi Abaniwonda directed that all DPOS must ensure that their Area of Responsibility is Policed adequately, urging them to embrace community-based policing. He also directed that visibility patrol and a proactive approach to Policing is what all DPOS must adopt under his leadership.
